Data
Explore the country-based comparative projects (CRIS, MIREM) that are being developed in the framework of the RDP and have free access to all the empirical, statistical and documentary data collected by the research team on returnees' patterns of reintegration in Algeria, Armenia, Mali, Morocco, and Tunisia.
1. Statistics on return migration
Tables and graphs based on available official statistics related to the stocks of returnees as well as to expelled migrants (so-called voluntary and forced returnees).
2. Field surveys on return migrants
Various comparable datasets have been produced. They allow the manifold factors shaping returnees’ patterns of reintegration in their country of origin to be better understood. Field data collected in North Africa (Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia) are now part of the Database on Return Migrants to the Maghreb (DReMM). New datasets, based on a large number of interviews with returnees to Mali and Armenia, will be available online in the course of 2012.
